We offer an option for whānau to car seat ownership

Cost - $245

Payment Options

  1. WINZ Grant
  2. Automatic Payment - Pay a deposit followed by weekly/fortnightly payments.  ID required: Driver license or Passport and Bank Account details.
  3. Pay cash

Car Seat Scheme Terms

The infant capsule is rented until the child is at maximum weight or when their head reaches the top of car seat.  The parents/caregivers can then take possession of the converitble seat and 3'n'1 booster seat.*

* The payment of $245.00 must be paid in full before car seats can be given.

Infant Seat

  • The back seat is the safest place for an infant seat. Do not put child in the front seat or where there is an airbag.
  • Put the harness firmly over baby’s shoulders and buckle in.
  • You should be able to fit one finger between baby and the harness.

Convertible Car Seat

  • The back seat is the safest place for a child seat. Do not put a child in the front seat or where there is an airbag.
  • To install the car seat follow the manufacturers or car restraint technicians instructions and guidelines.
  • The bottom harness can be adjusted to tighten or loosen the shoulder harness. The harness should be firm against your child and always go over the shoulders.
  • The shoulder harness should be moved up as your child grows

3’n'1 Booster Car Seat

  • The back seat is the safest place for a 3 n 1” car seat booster.
  • A 3’n'1 booster car seat uses a harness,, then as the child grows they can use the vehicle seat belt, and for the older child it converts to a booster seat only.
  • The 3’n'1 booster car seat is fastened provided the vehicle is fitted with 3-point static 3 point retractor safety belt.approved to UNIECE Regulation No.16 or other equivalent standards.
